1. What is an affiliate link
An affiliate link shows that you reached a vendor’s site through this website. If you create an account or subscribe to a plan, the vendor may pay me a commission. The price you pay is the same as you would pay without the link. Some offers include a discount or an extended trial period; when that is the case, I state it clearly on the tool page.
2. How links work on this site
Links to tools go through addresses of the type /go/(tool)/, which redirect to the vendor’s site with the affiliate programme parameters, when a programme exists. This format lets me keep links up to date in one place and mark them consistently.
On each redirect I only record an aggregated click count per tool. I do not create personal profiles or associate clicks with identified individuals. The redirect does not set its own tracking cookies on your device. The vendor’s site may set its own cookies, according to that site’s policy and your consent choices.
3. Rankings are not for sale
- No vendor pays to appear, to move up a list or to receive a favourable review.
- The existence of a commission, or its amount, does not change the order or the verdict on a tool.
- I include tools without an affiliate programme whenever they are the best option for a use case.
- I point out the drawbacks of each tool, including those that generate a commission.

4. Where affiliate links appear
Tool directory pages, comparisons, lists and the recommended stack may contain affiliate links and display a visible notice next to the content. Blog articles may also contain affiliate links; when they do, the article includes a clear notice at the beginning or next to the link.
5. Active affiliate programmes
I take part in affiliate programmes of various digital marketing, SEO, email and consent-management tools. The specific list and join date appear, where applicable, on each tool’s page. If a tool has no affiliate programme, the link goes directly to the vendor’s site without affiliate parameters.
6. Relationship with consulting services
In consulting projects I recommend the tool that best serves the client’s store, regardless of whether a commission exists. If I recommend a tool with which I have an affiliate relationship, I state that explicitly and the client may sign up directly, without my link. Any commissions earned on client projects are disclosed and, when the client prefers, discounted or declined.
7. Vendor offers
If a vendor offers me free access, a demo account or another benefit, I note it on the tool’s page. That does not condition the evaluation. I do not accept paid sponsorships that would change a tool’s ranking or verdict.
