Ongoing growth advisory for your WooCommerce store

I act as the head of growth your store doesn’t yet have full time. I keep an eye on the numbers, help you decide and keep priorities moving, month after month.

In short

Ongoing growth advisory is a monthly service in which I track the store’s indicators, prioritise initiatives and support marketing and ecommerce decisions. It suits WooCommerce stores that need regular strategic input but can’t yet justify an in-house marketing director. It includes regular meetings, asynchronous support and results reviews.

When a one-off project isn’t enough

  • The plan loses momentum after handover

The roadmap is well received, but with nobody keeping priorities on track, day-to-day work fills all the space within a few weeks.

  • Decisions with no one to challenge them

The owner decides alone on agencies, tools and spend, without an experienced sounding board to test the reasoning.

  • Partners working in silos

The ads agency, the developer and whoever handles email all work in parallel, each with their own metrics and no shared view.

How the advisory works

I work in monthly cycles with clear objectives. Each cycle I review the numbers, assess experiments in progress and agree next month’s priorities with you, always following the order Retain, Measure, Grow.

  • Regular meetings with an agenda and recorded decisions
  • An experiment backlog maintained and prioritised together
  • Asynchronous support for questions and decisions between meetings
  • Coordination with agencies, developers and other partners

What’s included

  • Monthly performance review

A reading of the month’s KPIs, an explanation of what moved and concrete recommendations for the period ahead.

  • Experiment backlog

A living list of hypotheses and tests, with status, outcome and lessons recorded.

  • Working sessions

Meetings with the owner or team to set priorities, review proposals and clear blockers.

  • Asynchronous support

A direct line for questions, review of supplier proposals and a second opinion on decisions.

  • Partner oversight

Review of agency and freelancer work against the agreed goals and metrics.

The monthly cycle

  1. Numbers review

At the start of the month I analyse the previous period on the KPI dashboard and prepare my findings.

  2. Decision session

I meet with you to review results, close finished experiments and choose the month’s priorities.

  3. Supported execution

Through the month I support your team and partners as they deliver, and answer questions asynchronously.

  4. Learning log

I document what was tested and learnt so the knowledge stays with the store, not just with me.

Tools I use

What is the minimum term?

In practice, the first months are spent stabilising data and priorities, so the value of advisory grows with continuity.

Do I need a roadmap or KPI framework first?

It isn’t essential. If the store doesn’t yet have a plan or defined KPIs, the first month of advisory is spent creating simplified versions of both.

Does advisory include hands-on work?

The focus is strategy, prioritisation and oversight. Implementation tasks, such as building email flows or fixing tracking, can be added to the scope or handed to partners I oversee.
