Meta Ads for WooCommerce: creative, catalogue and clean signals

On Facebook and Instagram, results come down to three things: creative that stops the scroll, a properly connected catalogue and conversion signals the algorithm can trust. I look after all three for your WooCommerce store.

In short

I manage Meta Ads campaigns (Facebook and Instagram) for WooCommerce stores. I set up the Pixel and Conversions API with deduplication, connect the product catalogue, structure prospecting and retargeting campaigns and run creative tests against clear criteria. It is for stores that want Meta to generate new demand without losing sight of profitability.

Why Meta Ads campaigns lose momentum

  • Incomplete signals

Browser Pixel only, no Conversions API, or events firing twice. Ad blockers, consent choices and browser restrictions all cut the data reaching Meta.

  • Creative fatigue

The same ads run for months until frequency climbs and costs spike. There is no routine for testing new angles or recording what actually worked.

  • Retargeting taking credit

Campaigns aimed at people who were already going to buy look highly profitable but add little. Without separating prospecting from retargeting, the picture is skewed.

How I run Meta Ads

I start with signal quality, because that is what the algorithm relies on. Then I set a simple structure that leaves room for automated optimisation, plus a steady rhythm of creative tests that keeps fresh material in the account and the lessons written down.

  • Pixel and Conversions API configured with event_id deduplication and advanced matching parameters, in line with consent.
  • A consolidated structure that separates prospecting, retargeting and existing customers.
  • Catalogue connected through Commerce Manager for dynamic ads and Advantage+ catalogue campaigns.
  • Creative tests with a hypothesis, a success criterion and a recorded outcome.

What you get

  • Account and signal audit

A review of campaigns, audiences, Events Manager, match quality and deduplication between the Pixel and Conversions API.

  • Conversions API set-up

Implementation or repair via server-side Google Tag Manager, a gateway or a plugin, covering the core eCommerce events.

  • Campaign structure

A plan for prospecting, retargeting and customer campaigns, with objectives, budgets and audience exclusions agreed.

  • Catalogue connection

A catalogue synced with WooCommerce, product sets by category or margin, and a check that Pixel content IDs match.

  • Creative testing plan

A schedule of angles and formats to test, briefs for your team or designer, and a log of results.

How it works

  1. Audit

I review the ad account, Events Manager and catalogue to understand the quality of your data and structure.

  2. Fix the signals

I resolve Pixel, Conversions API and catalogue issues before touching campaigns or budgets.

  3. New structure and creative

I launch the agreed structure with a first round of creative tests that fit the store's positioning.

  4. Test and optimise

I review results, switch off what isn't working, scale what is, and document every lesson.

Do I really need the Conversions API if I already have the Pixel?

For most stores, yes. The Conversions API sends events from the server and fills in when the browser can't. It needs deduplication so the same purchase isn't counted twice, and it should always respect the consent the visitor has given.

Do you produce the ad creative?

I define the angles, formats and briefs, and I analyse how each creative performs. The design or video production can sit with your team, a designer or creator content, depending on what you already have.

Can Advantage+ campaigns handle everything on their own?

They simplify management, but they don't replace good signals, a clean catalogue and varied creative. It is also worth controlling how much budget goes to existing customers, so you aren't paying for sales that would have happened anyway.
