Recommended stack

The marketing stack I recommend for online stores

Rather than a pile of separate tools, a store needs a set that works together: retain, measure and grow on reliable data.

In short

The recommended stack is the set of email/SMS, tracking, consent and advertising tools I consider a sound foundation for an online store, starting with WooCommerce. I explain the role of each layer and how they connect. It is for anyone setting up or reviewing their stack without piling up redundant tools.

Why I think in layers

I organise the stack in four layers: email and SMS to Retain, tracking and consent to Measure on reliable, GDPR-compliant data, and ads and feeds to Grow. Each layer must pass data to the next without loss. An excellent tool in isolation is worth little if consent or tracking breaks along the way.

Do I need every layer from the start?

No. An early-stage store can start with email, consent and well-configured basic tracking. Server-side tracking and further layers make more sense once ad spend and data volume justify the cost.

Is the stack the same for every platform?

The principles are the same, but integrations differ. I start with WooCommerce, the platform I specialise in, and list the tools that integrate well with it.

Can you review my store's stack?

Yes. In an audit or discovery call I look at the tools you already use, where they overlap and where data is lost, and propose a stack suited to your store's stage.

Right tools, but still losing profit?
