Growth consulting for WooCommerce stores
WooCommerce gives you full control of your store, but it also leaves plenty of technical decisions open. I help turn that flexibility into reliable data and repeat sales.
In short
I am a growth consultant specialising in WooCommerce. I set up tracking with GA4, Google Tag Manager and a data layer, consent with Consent Mode v2, email and SMS automation and paid media campaigns, all adapted to the way WooCommerce works. It is for WordPress stores that already sell and want to grow profitably.
What I do for WooCommerce stores
-
Ecommerce tracking
Complete GA4 events from product view to purchase, built on a stable data layer that doesn't depend on the theme or fragile plugins.
-
Consent and privacy
A WordPress-compatible consent platform, Google Consent Mode v2 and tags that follow each visitor's choices.
-
Email and SMS automation
Connecting the store to your email platform, syncing orders and products, and building welcome, basket and post-purchase flows.
-
Feeds and paid media
Product feeds for Google Merchant Center and Meta, Performance Max and Shopping campaigns, and conversions with the right values.
-
Technical SEO for the store
Category structure, filters and pagination, product structured data and control over what Google crawls and indexes.
-
Plugin selection and review
I assess your marketing and tracking plugins, remove overlaps and suggest alternatives where they harm data quality or speed.
Common problems on WooCommerce stores
-
01
Duplicate or missing purchases
Reloaded thank-you pages, off-site payment gateways and overlapping plugins lead to purchases counted twice or not at all.
-
02
Too many plugins, too little control
Several plugins send the same events in different ways, leaving data inconsistent and the store slower.
-
03
Consent that never reaches the tags
The cookie banner is on screen, but visitors' choices are neither respected by the tags nor passed on to Google.
The stack I usually recommend
Google Tag Manager with an ecommerce data layer, GA4, a consent platform that supports Consent Mode v2, an email and SMS platform with a native or official WooCommerce integration, and a product feed manager. Server-side tagging where the store warrants it. The final choice depends on volume, budget and team.
Why did you specialise in WooCommerce?
Because it is widely used in Portugal and because its flexibility creates recurring tracking and integration problems. Knowing those problems well means fixing them faster and with less risk.
Do you touch the store's code?
I work in Google Tag Manager and plugins and, where needed, make small additions to a child theme or a dedicated plugin for the data layer. Larger theme or checkout changes are done with the store's developer.
Which tracking plugin do you recommend for WooCommerce?
It depends on the store. Some plugins produce a solid ecommerce data layer; others send incomplete data. I choose once I've seen your existing plugins, theme and ad platforms.
Will the changes slow my store down?
I aim for the opposite. A tracking audit usually uncovers duplicate scripts and unnecessary plugins, and trimming that excess helps both your data and your site speed.
Do you work with B2B or subscription WooCommerce stores?
Yes, as long as the model is clear from the outset. B2B and subscription stores need their own events and metrics, such as renewals or customer-specific pricing, which I build into the measurement plan.
Is your WooCommerce store leaking profit?
The free simulator scans your store, checks tracking, consent and speed, and estimates, in euros, the profit at stake.
