Crawl Budget

Crawl Budget: Crawl budget is the number of URLs a search engine is willing and able to crawl on your site in a given period.

Crawl budget is the number of URLs a search engine is willing and able to crawl on your site in a given period. It matters mostly for large eCommerce sites with thousands of products, filters and parameters, where bots can waste time on low-value URLs instead of important pages.

Clean internal linking, a tidy XML sitemap, canonical tags and blocking useless filter URLs help search engines focus on what should rank.
