Cost Per Acquisition (CPA)

Cost Per Acquisition (CPA): Cost per acquisition (CPA) is the average cost of getting one conversion, such as a sale or lead, from a campaign.

Cost per acquisition (CPA) is the average cost of getting one conversion, such as a sale or lead, from a campaign. It is calculated as campaign spend divided by the number of conversions. It is also the basis of target CPA bidding strategies.

For eCommerce, a good CPA depends on margin and Lifetime Value (LTV), not on a fixed number.
