This template helps you move from a loose list of metrics to a clear KPI framework: what is measured, why, where the data comes from and how often it is reviewed. It is useful for stores with plenty of reports but little clarity on what actually drives decisions.
What it includes
- North-star metric: space to define the indicator that best represents the store’s profitable growth.
- KPIs by pillar: sections for Retain (for example repeat purchase rate and LTV), Measure (data quality and coverage) and Grow (for example break-even ROAS and acquisition cost).
- Metrics dictionary: definition, formula, data source and owner for each indicator.
- Review rhythm: which metrics are reviewed weekly, monthly and quarterly.
- Decision log: space to note what changed and why, linking metrics to actions.
How to use it
Start with the north-star metric and choose only a few KPIs per pillar. A framework with too many indicators ends up guiding nothing.
